His performance was complemented by Kylin James who rushed for 37 yards on seven attempts and scored one touchdown, showcasing UNLV's balanced attack strategy.

Special Teams and Discipline

Special teams played a vital role in this match as well. Punter Marshall Nichols had an outstanding game with nine punts totaling 384 yards and managing to place two inside the 20-yard line which significantly impacted field position in favor of UNLV. Caden Chittenden was perfect on the day as well; he successfully converted all three extra-point attempts and nailed a crucial field goal from 48 yards out.

Penalties could have been costly but were kept to a minimum by both sides; however, it was discipline that ultimately helped maintain control of the game flow in favor of UNLV.
