Despite this effort, interceptions proved costly as three were thrown. On the ground, they covered 91 yards over 25 attempts but failed to reach the end zone.

Special teams had their moments too; all three punts by the Trojans landed inside the opponent's 20-yard line. In terms of kicking precision, they scored on their only field goal attempt from within the range of twenty-nine yards and successfully completed all extra-point kicks.

Defensively, there were bright spots for USC as well; they recorded two sacks totaling sixteen lost yards for Oregon and managed one interception that was returned fourteen yards. However, penalties slightly marred their defensive efforts with eight infractions costing them ninety-two penalty yards.

The Ducks' performance was marked by high efficiency in scoring opportunities and converting plays into points. Their offensive unit demonstrated remarkable execution throughout each quarter while maintaining discipline to keep penalty yardage below one hundred.
