The game at United Airlines Field at LA Memorial Coliseum saw the home team, the USC Trojans, put on an offensive clinic against their storied rivals. The Trojans amassed a total of 622 yards with an average gain of nearly eight yards per play. Their passing game was particularly effective; quarterback play led to 515 passing yards with a completion rate of nearly 79 percent and four touchdowns through the air. The longest pass completed was for 49 yards which also resulted in a touchdown.

The rushing offense added another dimension to their game plan, contributing three touchdowns and averaging four yards per carry over thirty-two attempts. Their longest rush was an impressive run that stopped just short of half-a-century mark at forty-six yards.

Special teams also played their part effectively; although no punts were blocked or returned for touchdowns, they managed to keep field position in favor with nine kickoffs totaling four hundred thirty-four yards and one touchback.

On defense, the USC Trojans recorded three sacks totaling twenty-nine lost yardage for UCLA and claimed one interception without conceding any return yardage. They held strong throughout most plays but did concede seven penalties amounting to fifty-seven penalty yards against them.

Efficiency within scoring range was perfect as both redzone and goal-to-go situations were capitalized on every occasion – six out six times in redzone efficiency and five out five times when it came down to goal-to-go scenarios. This impeccable performance extended into extra points where all seven kicks attempted sailed through uprights successfully.

As for field goals, there was room for improvement as only one out two attempts made it past posts – hitting from within thirty-nine-yard range but missing beyond forty-nine-yard line.

The next challenge awaiting the USC Trojans will be away from home against Iowa Hawkeyes at San Diego County Credit Union Stadium on December twenty-seventh starting at eight PM Eastern Time. Fans can catch this upcoming encounter live on Fox Sports One satellite channel two hundred nineteen as both teams look forward to closing their seasons on high notes.
