In their previous outing against the Tigers at Allegiant Stadium, the Trojans showcased a balanced attack that led them to a 27-20 victory. Their offense was particularly impressive, amassing a total of 447 yards with 378 of those coming through the air. Quarterback Miller Moss had an outstanding game, completing 75 percent of his passes for 378 yards and one touchdown. His performance was pivotal and is something fans should watch closely as he looks to replicate this success against Utah State.

The rushing game added another dimension to USC's offense, contributing 69 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Woody Marks stood out with 68 rushing yards and two touchdowns, highlighting his ability as a key player in the Trojan's offensive scheme.

Defensively, USC managed to keep pressure on their opponents without recording any sacks but did tally three tackles for loss. The defense also proved opportunistic by securing an interception that helped stifle any momentum from LSU.

Special teams played its part effectively as well; Michael Lantz hit two out of three field goal attempts while ensuring kickoffs kept LSU starting from deep within their own territory.

Looking ahead to Saturday's matchup against Utah State Aggies at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum scheduled for September 7th at 11:00 PM ET (broadcast on BTN network), fans can expect USC Trojans' multifaceted approach - leveraging strong passing games alongside strategic defensive plays - aiming for another win early in this season. This home advantage could be significant for USC as they look forward not just towards victory over Utah State but also setting tone early in what promises be an exciting season ahead.
