In the final quarter, USC sealed their victory with ten unanswered points. Ryon Sayeri contributed significantly by converting all five extra-point attempts and nailing a crucial field goal from twenty-two yards out. Meanwhile, Anthony Lucas recovered one fumble which further thwarted any comeback hopes for Northwestern.
