The Utah State Aggies entered Mackay Stadium hoping to improve their season but encountered stiff resistance from the home team. Despite their efforts, the Aggies could not overcome the Wolf Pack's defense. The away team managed to accumulate a total of 198 yards throughout the game, with their rushing attempts contributing 109 yards to this tally. The passing game saw them gain an additional 101 yards through air.

Utah State's punting unit was kept busy, executing ten attempts that resulted in an average of approximately 42 yards per punt and successfully pinning down five within the opponent's twenty-yard line. On defense, they were able to register four sacks on opposing quarterbacks and forced one fumble during playtime.

Offensively, Utah State had eleven first downs throughout the game; four were achieved on rushing plays while five came through passing efforts. Their red zone efficiency was notable as they capitalized on both opportunities they had within this critical area – maintaining a perfect success rate.

The lone touchdown for Utah State came from their passing offense which also completed sixteen out of thirty-four attempts; however, it was only a four-yard completion that found its way into the end zone. In terms of special teams performance, kick returns yielded seventy-five yards over three instances with one return stretching thirty yards – marking it as their longest for this encounter.

Penalties seemed controlled as only five were called against them resulting in fifty-two penalty yards assessed against them which did not cross thresholds that would have been particularly detrimental to their overall performance.

As for upcoming events for loyal fans of Utah State football: The next challenge awaits at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium where they will host Fresno State Bulldogs on November 14th at noon local time (7:30 PM GMT). This encounter can be followed live on Fox Sports 2 for those eager to watch how Utah State will fare in this next chapter of college football action.
