In an intense game at the Arizona Stadium, the Utah Utes secured another victory to add to their season's success. The Utes showcased their offensive capabilities by amassing a total of 334 yards throughout the game. Their passing game was particularly effective; they completed 17 passes for a total of 229 yards and achieved an impressive quarterback rating of 141. The longest pass completed stretched for 40 yards and contributed significantly to keeping the chains moving.

The rushing offense also added value with a cumulative yardage of 121 on the ground over 38 attempts. Although averaging just over three yards per carry might seem modest, it was enough to sustain drives and control the clock effectively as evidenced by their possession time which exceeded half an hour.

Special teams played their part too; all three field goal attempts were successful with one being from as far out as 41 yards. This flawless kicking performance added nine crucial points to the scoreboard for Utah.

Defensively, Utah's prowess was on full display as they intercepted three passes from Arizona's offense – one of which was returned for a touchdown covering an impressive distance of fourteen yards. Additionally, two sacks were recorded against Arizona’s quarterback totaling twelve lost yards for them.

Penalties could have been problematic for both sides but remained under control; however, it is worth noting that nine penalties were called against Utah resulting in eighty-three penalty yards.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought victory on foreign turf, fans can anticipate watching their team again when the University of Utah hosts Stanford Cardinal at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. This upcoming encounter is scheduled for October seventh at eight fifteen PM local time and will be broadcasted on Fox Sports one satellite channel two hundred nineteen.
