The Miners' offense was able to accumulate a total of 326 yards throughout the game. The passing attack contributed significantly to this yardage, with the quarterback throwing for 284 yards and achieving a passer rating of over 133. Despite one interception, he managed to complete nearly 58 percent of his passes, including one touchdown pass that covered 25 yards. The receiving corps was equally impressive; they caught passes totaling 284 yards and secured first downs on thirteen occasions.

On the ground, UTEP's rushing efforts were met with resistance but still managed two touchdowns. Their longest run spanned 23 yards out of their total rushing yardage of 72 on thirty-seven attempts. In terms of special teams play, UTEP's kicker maintained perfect accuracy by converting all three extra-point attempts and successfully making a field goal from within the thirty-nine-yard range.

Defensively, UTEP showed tenacity by recording four sacks and forcing two fumbles during crucial moments in the game. However, penalties seemed to be an area where discipline waned slightly as they incurred six penalties amounting to sixty penalty yards.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs' performance also had its highlights as they scored thirty-one points against UTEP Miners. Their ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities was evident in their red zone efficiency where they converted seventy-five percent into scores.

As fans look ahead after this hard-fought battle between these competitive teams, attention turns towards the next challenge for UTEP Miners. They will be hosting University Alabama Birmingham Blazers at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on October twenty-seventh at six-thirty PM local time (Central Time).
