In an intense face-off at Nashville's FirstBank Stadium, the Vanderbilt Commodores emerged victorious over the Florida Gators. The home team's offense was on full display as they accumulated a total of 283 yards. The passing game contributed significantly to this tally with 108 yards and an impressive quarterback rating of 169. Three passing touchdowns were recorded, including one for a longest completion of 28 yards which also happened to be the longest touchdown.

The rushing attack added another dimension to their game plan, grinding out 175 yards on the ground over 46 attempts. Although no touchdowns came from these efforts, eight first downs were achieved through rushes alone. A notable rush was recorded at a length of 26 yards.

Special teams also played their part; one field goal attempt sailed through from within the range of twenty-nine yards and kickoffs totaled six with four resulting in touchbacks. On defense, Vanderbilt managed to secure an interception and defended one pass effectively.

On the other side of the ball, despite putting up a valiant effort and scoring twenty-four points themselves, it wasn't enough for the Gators to take home victory from Nashville.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when Vanderbilt will face off against Tennessee Volunteers at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville on November 27th at half-past seven PM local time (12:30 AM UTC). This upcoming game will be broadcasted on SEC Network channel number six hundred eleven for those eager to follow along as it unfolds live.
