Vanderbilt Commodores Sail Past Utah State Aggies with a 55-35 Victory

The Vanderbilt Commodores continued their impressive season with a commanding 55-35 victory over the Utah State Aggies at FirstBank Stadium. With this win, the Commodores improved their record to 5-0, while the Aggies fell to 3-2.

First Quarter


The game kicked off with both teams showcasing their offensive prowess. The first quarter ended in a tie, as both teams managed to put up 7 points on the board. The Dores' quarterback Diego Pavia was instrumental in setting up plays that kept the Aggies' defense on its toes.

Third Quarter

Fourth Quarter


In the final stretch of play, despite conceding two touchdowns to Utah State, Vandy managed another touchdown themselves, ensuring they maintained control until the end. Running back Makhilyn Young contributed significantly with his rushing efforts totaling over twenty yards and securing one touchdown during critical moments.
