Defensively speaking, Virginia Tech managed two sacks and five tackles for loss while applying pressure on Miami's quarterback with three hits. However, they were unable to force any turnovers through interceptions or fumble recoveries during this contest.

Looking ahead after this tough home defeat against Miami (FL), fans can look forward to seeing if Virginia Tech can bounce back in their next outing. The upcoming game will see them travel away from Blacksburg as they face North Carolina State Wolfpack at Wayne Day Family Field at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh on October 27th at approximately 7:30 PM Eastern Time. Fans eager to support their team can catch all the action broadcasted live on ESPN satellite channel number two hundred six.
