First Quarter


The game began with a strong showing from Wake's offense, scoring 15 points while keeping Delaware scoreless. Robby Ashford led the charge with precise passing, completing several key throws that set up scoring opportunities. The defense also played a crucial role by forcing two three-and-outs.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, both teams found their rhythm offensively. The Deacons added another 20 points to their tally, thanks in part to Carlos Hernandez's impressive performance as he caught a long touchdown pass of 93 yards from Ashford. Meanwhile, Delaware managed to get on the board with a touchdown but still trailed significantly.


Third Quarter


Wake continued its dominance into the third quarter by adding another 14 points without allowing any from Delaware. Ty Clark III contributed significantly on the ground with his rushing efforts leading to one of these touchdowns and maintaining control of possession for Wake.


Fourth Quarter


The final quarter saw limited scoring as both defenses tightened up; however, Wake managed an additional field goal while Delaware scored once more before time expired. Connor Calvert was perfect on field goals for Wake Forest throughout this period.
