In front of an electrifying crowd of 68,791 at Caesars Superdome, the Huskies demonstrated why they are one of the top contenders this season. The home team's quarterback was particularly impressive with his precision passing that racked up 430 yards and two touchdowns. His performance earned him an outstanding passer rating of 183.9 as he completed nearly three-quarters of his pass attempts.

The rushing attack added another dimension to the Huskies' offense with two touchdowns on ground and a total gain of 102 yards from their running plays. Despite losing one fumble during play, they managed to recover two from their opponents which contributed significantly to maintaining possession.

Special teams also played a critical role for Washington; their kicker was flawless on the day converting all three field goal attempts with his longest being from 40 yards out. This perfect kicking game complemented their red zone efficiency where they scored six times out of seven opportunities.

Defensively, Washington showed resilience by recording two sacks and five tackles for loss while limiting Texas' scoring drives especially in crucial moments throughout each quarter. Their defense also forced one fumble which they recovered twice adding to Texas' woes.

On receiving end for Washington were dynamic plays including a long reception that went for 77 yards contributing greatly to their average gain per play standing at eight yards across all plays run during this contest.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought victory over Texas Longhorns, fans can catch Washington Huskies as they prepare to face off against Michigan Wolverines at NRG Stadium in Houston on January 9th at what will be an evening kickoff time scheduled for broadcast on ESPN network satellite channel number 206.
