Key Highlights from the Game

The Huskies struggled to find their rhythm against a robust Hawkeyes defense. Despite their efforts, Washington managed to score only two touchdowns and one field goal throughout the match. His performance was complemented by Demond Williams Jr., who also threw for one touchdown on his sixteen attempts totaling 71 yards.

On special teams, Grady Gross successfully converted one out of two field goal attempts with his longest being thirty-five yards.

Denzel Boston led in receiving with forty-eight yards on five receptions including one touchdown which highlighted his significant contribution despite the overall team struggles.

Defensive Efforts and Special Teams

On defense, Isaiah Ward made notable contributions with one sack and an additional tackle for loss totaling twelve sack yards and contributing significantly towards Washington's defensive efforts which unfortunately were not enough to contain Iowa's offense.

Special teams had mixed results; Jack McCallister punted once achieving forty-three punt yards but this did little to alleviate pressure from Iowa's consistent advances.
