First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Cougs manage to put points on the board with a field goal by Jack Stevens from 26 yards out. However, it was UNT who dominated early on with two touchdowns, setting an aggressive tone for what was to come.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Wazzu struggled to contain UNT's offense as they scored four more touchdowns. The defense found it difficult to stop their opponents' relentless drive downfield. Despite efforts from players like Caleb Francl who recorded one sack and one tackle for loss, it wasn't enough to halt UNT's momentum.

Third Quarter

After halftime adjustments, Wazzu aimed for a comeback but were unable to score in this period. Meanwhile, UNT added another touchdown and field goal to their tally. The Cougars' passing game saw Jaxon Potter complete 16 passes for 139 yards but also threw three interceptions that hindered any potential scoring opportunities.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter of play, Zevi Eckhaus managed a rushing touchdown for Wazzu which provided some consolation amidst an otherwise tough outing. Despite this effort and contributions from players like Tony Freeman who caught three passes totaling 47 yards, North Texas sealed their victory with another touchdown late in the game.
