Washington State Cougars Dominate Oregon State Beavers with Zevi Eckhaus' Stellar Performance

First Quarter


The opening quarter saw a slow start for both teams offensively. However, the Cougs managed to put points on the board with a field goal by Jack Stevens. The defense held strong against the Beavs, preventing any scoring opportunities and setting an early tone for dominance.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Washington State's offense came alive. Quarterback Zevi Eckhaus orchestrated an impressive drive culminating in a touchdown pass to tight end Trey Leckner. The rushing attack was equally effective as Angel Johnson broke free for a significant gain and scored one of his touchdowns during this period. By halftime, Wazzu had extended their lead significantly.


Third Quarter


The third quarter continued with more pressure from Washington's defense led by Isaac Terrell who recorded multiple sacks throughout the game. This relentless defensive effort kept Oregon State scoreless while allowing Eckhaus and company to add another touchdown through Kirby Vorhees' powerful run into the end zone.


Fourth Quarter


Despite trailing heavily entering into final moments of playtime; ORST managed its only scoring drive resulting from strategic plays but it wasn't enough against such formidable opposition like that posed by WSU’s lineup which included notable contributions across various positions including Caleb Francl’s interception return yardage helping secure victory ultimately sealed when yet another successful field goal attempt made way courtesy kicker Ryan Harris ensuring no chance left unturned till very last whistle blew signaling conclusion here today!
