Game Highlights

The match began unfavorably for the Wyoming Cowboys as they found themselves trailing by 14 points by the end of the first quarter. The team managed to put up 3 points in the second quarter through a field goal but entered halftime down by 11 points. In an attempt to rally back, Wyoming scored their only touchdown in the third quarter but failed to add any more points in the fourth, ultimately falling short of a comeback.

Wyoming's offense struggled throughout much of the game, with quarterback Kaden Anderson completing just under half his passes for a total of 120 yards and no touchdowns. The ground game saw some success; Jamari Ferrell led with impressive rushes totaling 74 yards on six attempts. However, this was not enough to significantly impact the scoreboard or keep possession away from Colorado State.

On special teams, punter Jack Culbreath was kept busy with eight punts averaging over 35 yards each and managing to place four within Colorado State's twenty-yard line. John Hoyland successfully converted his lone field goal attempt from an impressive distance of 49 yards.

Defensive Efforts and Looking Ahead

Defensively, Wyoming had its moments but couldn't produce turnovers or sacks that might have shifted momentum back into their favor. DeVonne Harris did recover a fumble for Wyoming which provided one of few highlights for their defense during this contest.

As they look ahead, fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for November 23rd when Boise State Broncos will visit Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie for what promises to be an exciting matchup between these two teams. This upcoming game is scheduled for broadcast on CBS Sports Network via satellite channel number:221 at exactly seven o'clock PM Eastern Time.
