First Quarter


The game kicked off with a strong start for the Pokes, as they took an early lead with a touchdown. The defense set the tone early, holding the Panthers scoreless in this period. Bart Edmiston showcased his punting skills by averaging nearly 49 yards per punt, pinning Northern Iowa deep in their own territory.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, both teams found their rhythm offensively. The Cowboys added another touchdown and a field goal to extend their lead. Kaden Anderson was efficient under center, completing over 73 percent of his passes and throwing two touchdowns without any interceptions. Meanwhile, Desman Hearns made an impact on defense with an interception that halted a promising drive by Northern Iowa.


Third Quarter
