Despite their efforts, they were outpaced by an assertive Oklahoma team that put up an impressive 50 points initially and followed up with 43 points to secure their victory. The final tally on the scoreboard reflected a hard-fought battle between two determined teams.


Throughout the match, Alabama showcased its ability to drive to the basket, accumulating a total of 38 points in paint. Their offensive rebounds were notable as well; they grabbed 14 which contributed to their overall count of 35 rebounds during playtime. However, it was not enough to overcome Oklahoma's defense that managed four blocks and limited Alabama's field goal percentage to approximately 38 percent.


Alabama’s performance from beyond the arc was modest as they made six three-point shots out of twenty-two attempts resulting in about a 27 percent success rate from long range. Free throw opportunities were also capitalized on but only slightly over half of them found their mark contributing thirteen points from free throws.


Defensively speaking, Alabama managed seven steals and blocked two shots but this defensive effort was overshadowed by personal fouls amounting to twenty for both teams which led to one player being fouled out for Alabama. Turnovers were equally shared among both teams with thirteen each which translated into eleven points off turnovers for Alabama.


On offense for Oklahoma Sooners, there was no shortage of precision as they boasted an impressive field goal percentage of approximately 58 percent including nine successful three-point shots making it about a staggering seventy percent success rate from downtown. Their free throw accuracy stood out as well; converting sixteen out of nineteen attempts translating into an approximate eighty-four percent completion rate.
