From the opening tip-off, the Crimson Tide set an aggressive tone. Their sharpshooting was on full display as they hit an outstanding 56 percent from beyond the arc, sinking 13 three-pointers. Inside the paint, they were just as effective, scoring 46 points and shooting at a remarkable 62 percent for two-point attempts.

The team's offensive efficiency was matched by their hustle on defense and in transition. Alabama racked up 25 fast break points and managed to turn over the ball only ten times during play. Their defensive efforts led to five steals and two blocks while maintaining discipline to avoid any foulouts or ejections.

Key players stepped up for Alabama throughout the game; their teamwork shone through with them dishing out 17 assists against ten turnovers - leading to an assists turnover ratio of 1.7. On top of that, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring 19 points off them.

On the other side of the court, Charleston put up a strong fight but couldn't match Alabama's intensity or shot-making ability. They did out-rebound Alabama with a total rebound count of 42 compared to Alabama's 34 but struggled from three-point range where they made only ten out of thirty-three attempts for a three-point percentage of just about thirty percent.

Despite being behind at halftime with only thirty-four points scored in contrast to Alabama's fifty-one first-half points, Charleston managed sixty-two second-half points in an attempt to close down their opponent’s lead which proved insufficient against Alabama’s fifty-eight second-half points.
