The Arizona State Sun Devils showcased a remarkable offensive performance against the visiting team. With an aggressive approach that yielded 27 fast break points and a solid 50 percent shooting from two-point range, they dominated the paint scoring 36 points. Their defensive prowess was equally notable as they racked up 12 steals and capitalized on turnovers by adding 24 points to their tally.

The three-point line was also friendly to the Sun Devils; they shot at a respectable rate of 31 percent from beyond the arc, converting eight shots that contributed significantly to their lead. Free throws were another area where Arizona State excelled, making good on 74 percent of their attempts from the charity stripe.

On top of that, ball distribution for Arizona State was efficient throughout the game as evidenced by their assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.88 with only nine turnovers compared to fifteen assists. This careful handling of possession contrasted sharply with USC's struggle in this department; they turned over the ball twenty-two times and had an assists turnover ratio below one.

Despite being outrebounded by ten boards overall – grabbing thirty-four rebounds compared to USC's forty-four – it did not deter Arizona State from maintaining control throughout most of this encounter. The home team made sure any second-chance opportunities for USC were limited as well; both teams scored relatively close in second-chance points with thirteen for ASU and seventeen for USC.

As fans look ahead after this convincing win by Arizona State University's basketball squad, attention now turns towards their next challenge. The Sun Devils will be guests facing off against Oregon Ducks at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene on January 25th at 6:00 PM local time (PST). Fans eager not to miss any action can tune into Pac-12 Network where this upcoming contest will be broadcasted live.
