The Wildcats demonstrated remarkable shooting accuracy throughout the game, with an overall field goal percentage of 54 and converting 63 percent from two-point range. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they scored 44 points in paint and capitalized on fast breaks to add another 18 points to their tally. With eight three-pointers made at a rate of 38 percent, they kept the scoreboard ticking over consistently.

In contrast, the Sun Devils struggled to find their rhythm offensively. They managed only a 35 percent field goal success rate and were less effective from beyond the arc, hitting just seven out of twenty-six attempts for a three-point percentage of 27. Despite these challenges, they fought hard under pressure and matched their opponents with both teams scoring eleven points off turnovers.

Defensively, Arizona State put up a stronger front than reflected by the final scoreline; they out-blocked their rivals with five blocks to two and recorded more steals at seven compared to five by the Wildcats. However, this defensive effort wasn't enough to counterbalance their offensive struggles or overcome Arizona's rebounding advantage – pulling down forty-three rebounds over thirty secured by ASU.

A bright spot for ASU was their free throw performance; both teams shot an identical seventy-two percent from the line but it was one area where ASU kept pace with Arizona's scoring efficiency.

Looking ahead for fans of Arizona State Sun Devils: mark your calendars for an away game against USC Trojans at Galen Center in Los Angeles on March 7th at 8:00 PM local time (PST). This matchup will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports 1 where supporters can follow all action as it unfolds on court.
