Sun Devils' Standout Performances


The game was marked by notable performances from several Sun Devils players. Alston Mason led his team with an outstanding 33 points, complemented by six assists and two steals, showcasing his all-around game. His shooting efficiency was remarkable, hitting 59 percent from the field and maintaining a perfect free throw percentage at 100 percent.


Shawn Phillips also made significant contributions with 14 points and six rebounds. His presence in the paint was felt on both ends of the court as he managed one block and one steal while shooting an impressive 67 percent from both the field and free throw line.

Joson Sanon emerged as another key player for Arizona State, adding 19 points to his team's total alongside five rebounds and two blocks. His defensive efforts were crucial in keeping his team competitive throughout the game.


Wildcats' Winning Formula


The Wildcats demonstrated why they are ranked number 24 nationally with their efficient play on both ends of the floor. They outrebounded Arizona State with a total of 38 rebounds compared to Arizona State's 28 and capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring an additional twenty-five points off those plays.

Their offensive strategy paid dividends as they shot an impressive fifty-nine percent from field goals compared to forty-six percent by Arizona State. The home team's ability to draw fouls effectively led them to attempt thirty-nine free throws, making eighty-one percent of them which contributed significantly to their win margin.
