First Half


The first half saw a strong performance from Sparky's squad as they managed to take an early lead. With Maurice Odum leading the charge, scoring consistently and assisting his teammates effectively, ASU put up 39 points against U of A's 38. The team's field goal percentage was impressive at 48 percent, with their three-point shooting hitting a remarkable 44 percent accuracy.


Second Half


Despite their initial momentum, ASU struggled to maintain their edge in the second half. The Cats came back fiercely with improved defense and strategic plays that allowed them to outscore Sparky by adding another 51 points to their tally. Massamba Diop made notable contributions for ASU with his rebounding efforts and defensive blocks but couldn't prevent U of A from pulling ahead.

Noah Meeusen stood out for Sparky by contributing significantly on both ends of the court. His shooting precision was evident as he maintained an impressive field goal percentage throughout his time on court. However, it was not enough to counteract U of A's offensive surge led by their bench players who added crucial points when needed most.
