Dynamic Team Efforts Lead to Victory


The Wildcats demonstrated a well-rounded team effort, boasting 21 assists and securing 31 rebounds throughout the game. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they achieved a 54 percent field goal percentage and were particularly effective from beyond the arc, hitting 50 percent of their three-point attempts. The bench contributed significantly with 35 points, underscoring the depth of talent within the team.


Henri Veesaar stood out with his remarkable efficiency, scoring 19 points on an astounding 82 percent shooting from the field. Jaden Bradley also made significant contributions with 13 points and six assists, showcasing his dual-threat capability. KJ Lewis added another layer to the offense with his playmaking skills, dishing out seven assists alongside scoring 11 points.


Baylor's Resilient Effort


Despite falling short in Tucson, Baylor Bears displayed moments of resilience and skill. They managed to turn around their first-half performance by scoring 51 points in the second half but couldn't overcome Arizona's lead. The Bears showed strength in fast break situations where they scored 20 points and were aggressive in drawing fouls which led them to attempt free throws at a rate of 77 percent success.
