Key Highlights from Arizona

The game was not without its moments for the Wildcats. Jaden Bradley emerged as a standout player for Arizona, scoring 18 points and showcasing his defensive skills with three steals. Despite Bradley's efforts and a high free throw percentage of 93 percent by the team, Arizona struggled to find their rhythm on offense. Their field goal percentage stood at only 33 percent, significantly lower than their opponents'. Additionally, Trey Townsend's all-around performance included leading in steals for his team with four and contributing five points.

Henri Veesaar also made notable contributions under pressure; he managed eight points and led his team in rebounds with five. However, turnovers were a critical issue for Arizona throughout the game; they recorded fourteen turnovers which Iowa State capitalized on to score nineteen points off these mistakes.

Iowa State's Dominant Performance

On the other side of the court, Iowa State showcased why they are one of the top teams this season. With an impressive field goal percentage of 50 percent and converting over half of their three-point attempts (52 percent), they kept building their lead throughout both halves. Their bench contributed significantly to this victory by adding thirty-four points to their total score.

The Cyclones' defense was equally impressive; they managed eight steals and two blocks while drawing twenty fouls against them which translated into nineteen free throws made out of twenty-three attempts (83 percent). This multifaceted approach allowed them to maintain control over the game’s pace and ultimately secure a comfortable win against Arizona.
