In a gripping Big 12 - Semifinal 2 matchup, the Arizona Wildcats emerged victorious over the Texas Tech Red Raiders with an impressive scoreline of 86-80. This victory improved the Wildcats' season record, showcasing their dominance on the court. Wildcats' Key Performances


The Arizona Wildcats displayed remarkable teamwork and individual brilliance throughout the game. Caleb Love led the scoring for Arizona with an outstanding 27 points, demonstrating his shooting prowess by hitting 67 percent from the field and a perfect free throw percentage. His performance was pivotal in maintaining Arizona's offensive pressure against Texas Tech.


KJ Lewis also made significant contributions with 15 points, six assists, eight rebounds, and an impressive defensive display that included three blocks and two steals. His all-around performance was crucial for Arizona's defense and playmaking.


Henri Veesaar added another layer of strength to Arizona's frontcourt with ten points and seven rebounds. His presence inside both painted areas played a key role in securing rebounds and contributing valuable points.


Red Raiders' Resilient Effort


Despite falling short, the Texas Tech Red Raiders showed resilience throughout the game. They managed to keep pace with Arizona for most of the match thanks to their balanced attack and solid defense which mirrored that of their opponents in terms of blocks (5) and steals (6). Their bench contributed significantly as well but couldn't quite match up to Arizona's depth which saw them adding 32 bench points compared to Texas Tech’s 20.
