Razorbacks Outshine Seahawks in High-Scoring Affair at Bud Walton Arena

The Arkansas Razorbacks emerged victorious with a 106-90 win over the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, improving their record to an impressive standing. The Seahawks now hold a record following their defeat. The game was a showcase of offensive firepower, with the Razorbacks leading the charge.

From tip-off, the Razorbacks set the tone with an assertive first half, outscoring the Seahawks 48-42. Their dominance continued into the second half as they racked up another 58 points against UNC Wilmington's 48. The home team's shooting accuracy was on full display as they hit 52 percent from the field and an outstanding 60 percent from two-point range. Their prowess at free throw line was equally notable, sinking shots at a 77 percent clip.


The Razorbacks' defense also played a key role in their victory; they managed to block five shots and steal possession five times throughout the game. These defensive efforts were complemented by their ability to share the ball on offense, tallying up a total of 16 assists which led to several key baskets.


Arkansas capitalized on every opportunity given by UNC Wilmington, scoring an equal number of fast break points as their opponents at 23 each but outdoing them in points scored in paint with a significant total of 50 compared to UNC Wilmington's 30.


Despite committing nearly as many personal fouls as UNC Wilmington (27 for Arkansas versus Seahawk's count), it was Arkansas' ability to maintain composure and convert opportunities that made all difference; both teams ended up turning over possession eight times each but it was Arkansas who made more out of these turnovers.


UNC Wilmington did put up formidable numbers themselves; they shot at respectable rates across various metrics – including field goals (42 percent) and three-pointers (36 percent). They also gave fans something to cheer about with ten successful three-pointers and showed resilience under pressure by making most out of second-chance opportunities contributing twenty-five points from such plays.
