Razorbacks Dominate at Bud Walton Arena Against Trojans

The Arkansas Razorbacks, with an impressive 11th rank, secured another victory at the Bud Walton Arena against the unranked Trojans. The home team's record now stands at a commendable 74-61, while the visiting Trojans fell short with their efforts reflected in their score.

The Razorbacks showcased a strong offensive performance throughout the game. They shot an efficient 53 percent from the field and were particularly dominant inside, scoring 46 points in the paint. Their two-point shooting was remarkable as they made 24 out of 40 attempts, translating to a solid 60 percent success rate. From beyond the arc, they managed to hit three out of eleven attempts.


Defensively, Arkansas was just as formidable. They blocked five shots and came away with eight steals which contributed to their fast break points tallying up to 14. The defensive effort also led to converting turnovers into points; they scored a notable 19 points off turnovers caused by the Trojans.

On individual performances for Arkansas, there were no foulouts or ejections which indicates disciplined play throughout the game. The team's free throw accuracy was also on point as they made 17 out of a possible 23 free throws – showing a high percentage of almost 74 percent from the line.


The visiting Trojans had some positive takeaways despite their loss. They managed to keep up in terms of shooting percentages with about a respectable 43 percent from field goals and making nine three-pointers at a rate of approximately 32 percent. However, their free throw performance lagged behind significantly as they only converted four out of eight attempts.

Arkansas capitalized on rebounds effectively by securing total rebounds compared to Troy's effort on boards; this included nine offensive rebounds that led directly to second-chance opportunities resulting in twelve second-chance points for Arkansas.
