Razorbacks Dominate Braves at Bud Walton Arena in Convincing Victory

In a display of offensive efficiency, the Arkansas Razorbacks outscored the Alcorn State Braves 93-59 at Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks' season record improved to 14-0, while the Braves fell to 0-1. The home team's scoring was consistent across both halves with 46 and 47 points respectively, while the visiting team managed 22 in the first half and improved to 37 in the second.

The Razorbacks showcased a strong offensive game with an impressive field goal percentage of 52 percent and were particularly effective from close range, hitting two-point shots at a remarkable rate of 67 percent. From beyond the arc, they also performed well, sinking twelve three-pointers for a solid shooting percentage of 40 percent. Free throws contributed significantly to their score as well, with Arkansas making 25 out of their attempted free throws.


Defensively, Arkansas also stood out by collecting ten steals and blocking four shots from Alcorn State. This defensive pressure led to numerous turnovers by Alcorn State who gave up possession sixteen times which translated into twenty-two points off turnovers for Arkansas.


Arkansas' teamwork was evident through their twenty assists on scoring plays which is indicative of their collaborative play style. On rebounds, they dominated both defensively and offensively gathering forty-one personal rebounds along with three additional team rebounds.


On the other side of the court, Alcorn State struggled against Arkansas' defense but managed to make some impact through fast breaks where they scored thirteen points. They shot just under forty percent from field goals overall but had better success inside painting thirty points there.


Alcorn State's efforts were hampered by personal fouls totaling twenty-seven which provided Arkansas numerous opportunities at free throw line contributing to their high score tally. Despite this setback for them, they did manage seven steals and blocked three attempts by Arkansas showing moments of resilience on defense.
