Arkansas Razorbacks VS Georgia Bulldogs

In an intense matchup at Stegeman Coliseum, the Arkansas Razorbacks displayed commendable effort but ultimately fell short against the Georgia Bulldogs. The first half concluded with Arkansas trailing by ten points, managing to score only 24 compared to Georgia's 34. However, they came back stronger in the second half scoring an impressive 42 points but it wasn't enough to close down the deficit as both teams scored equally in this half.

Arkansas showcased some solid defensive plays with seven blocks and six steals during the game. Offensively, they were able to convert more than half of their two-point attempts with a shooting percentage of 54 percent from within close range. Despite these efforts, overall field goal accuracy was just at 40 percent which included a lackluster three-point shooting performance marked by only three made shots from beyond the arc out of twenty-one attempts resulting in a mere 14 percent success rate.

The team also struggled from the free-throw line making only fifteen out of twenty-two attempts which translates into a free throw percentage of approximately 68 percent. On top of that, personal fouls seemed to plague them throughout as they racked up twenty-two fouls over course of play without any player being fouled out or ejected.

On offense inside paint proved fruitful for Arkansas who scored thirty-four points while also capitalizing on turnovers by adding ten points off them. Their rebounding was strong as well; pulling down thirty-nine rebounds including seven offensive boards contributing towards ten second-chance points.

Meanwhile, despite having one player foul out and committing one more personal foul than Arkansas with twenty-one total infractions; Georgia managed better efficiency across various aspects including higher field goal percentage (42), three-point percentage (33), and free throw accuracy (77). They also edged past Arkansas slightly on total rebounds grabbing forty compared to thirty-nine by visitors while converting more effectively on fast breaks scoring eleven fast break points against six by Razorbacks.
