Razorbacks Edge Out Aggies in a Razor-Thin Victory at Bud Walton Arena

In a closely contested battle at Bud Walton Arena, the Arkansas Razorbacks emerged victorious with a nail-biting 78-77 win over the Texas A&M Aggies. The Razorbacks now hold an unblemished record, while the Aggies fall to a symmetrical opposite.

The Arkansas Razorbacks fortified their basket with an impressive nine blocks compared to the three from the Texas A&M Aggies. Despite being outrebounded by the visitors who grabbed 47 boards to their 35, the Razorbacks managed to maintain composure and leverage their free throw accuracy, sinking 31 out of 40 attempts for an impressive 78 percent completion rate.


Arkansas's offensive efforts were spearheaded by their ability to convert beyond the arc. They hit seven three-pointers at a notable rate of 37 percent against Texas A&M's six at just 21 percent. This outside shooting proved crucial in countering the Aggies' dominance in second-chance points where they led with twenty-five compared to Arkansas's nine.
