Clash at The Pavilion: Arkansas Razorbacks Take on Ole Miss Rebels

As the Arkansas Razorbacks prepare to face off against the Ole Miss Rebels at The Pavilion at Ole Miss, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Razorbacks have been showing a strong performance this season, and their upcoming game promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Ole Miss Rebels VS Arkansas Razorbacks

In their last game on December 22nd against Abilene Christian Wildcats, the Razorbacks demonstrated an impressive comeback in the second half, scoring 55 points to secure an 83-73 victory. Their offensive prowess was evident as they shot over 51 percent from the field and an outstanding 47 percent from beyond the arc. With such shooting efficiency, ARK has shown that they can maintain pressure on defense while executing effectively on offense.

The defensive efforts of ARK should not go unnoticed either; they managed to block six shots and grab a total of 45 rebounds in their previous game. This level of defensive intensity will be crucial when facing MISS's attack. However, turnovers were a concern for ARK as they gave up possession 17 times against ACU. They will need to tighten up their ball-handling and improve their assist-to-turnover ratio which stood at just over half (0.53) during that match.

On the other side of the court, MISS will pose a formidable challenge for ARK with their own set of strengths. In recent games, opponents have found it difficult to break down MISS's defense which could disrupt ARK's rhythm if not addressed properly by coach Musselman’s squad.

ARK fans should also remember December 16th when their team narrowly defeated Lipscomb Bisons with a scoreline of 69-66 in North Little Rock. That day showcased ARK’s ability to grind out results even when not playing at peak performance – something that might come in handy against MISS who are known for keeping games close.

Looking ahead, one cannot ignore that during an earlier away game on December 9th versus Oklahoma Sooners – ranked number 19 then – despite putting up a good fight and scoring more efficiently from free throws (84 percent), ARK fell short by nine points with final scores reading Sooners' favor at 79-70.

With all these factors considered, it is clear that while Arkansas Razorbacks have shown moments of brilliance this season; consistency remains key if they wish to emerge victorious in Oxford come January 24th night-time tip-off scheduled for Thursday evening at The Pavilion.

Fans eager not to miss any action can tune into ESPN Networks where live coverage will be broadcasted starting from Thursday night's tip-off time onwards.
