Mississippi State Bulldogs VS Arkansas Razorbacks

The Razorbacks started off strong with a first-half performance that saw them scoring 29 points to the Bulldogs' 34. Despite trailing, they ramped up their efforts in the second half to add another 38 points to their tally. Arkansas's offensive efforts were highlighted by their impressive two-point field goal percentage of 58 percent from a total of 38 attempts. They also made notable contributions from inside the paint with a solid 30 points.

Defensively, Arkansas demonstrated resilience by accumulating six blocks and four steals throughout the game. However, personal fouls seemed to be an area of concern as they racked up a total of 25 fouls which led to three foulouts. On the rebounding front, they managed to secure a total of eight offensive rebounds and eighteen defensive rebounds.

Arkansas's free throw accuracy was commendable as well; they achieved a free throw percentage of approximately 74 percent from nineteen attempts. Their three-point shooting was less effective though, converting only three out of seventeen attempts for an eighteen percent success rate.

On Mississippi State's side, their ability to capitalize on turnovers was slightly better than that of Arkansas as they scored eleven points off turnovers compared to ten by Arkansas. The Bulldogs also had more second-chance points at thirteen versus eight for Arkansas and dominated in terms of total rebounds with forty-two against twenty-seven by the Razorbacks.

As both teams fought hard on court leading to nine times tied and five lead changes during playtime; it was ultimately Mississippi State who edged out ahead when it mattered most.
