Looking back at their recent games, it's clear that Auburn has been on a roll. On December 14th against UNC Asheville Bulldogs, they dominated with an 87-62 victory. Their offense was firing on all cylinders; shooting over 53 percent from the field and an impressive 80 percent from the free-throw line. They also showed their prowess inside, scoring a whopping 50 points in the paint.

But it wasn't just their offense that shone; defensively they were just as strong. With nine steals and five blocks, they disrupted UNC Asheville's flow and capitalized on turnovers with 17 points off them.

Another standout performance came on December 9th when they faced Indiana Hoosiers and came out victorious with an eye-watering score of 104-76. The team displayed exceptional ball distribution ending up with an assist-turnover ratio of an astounding 12.5 – a testament to their precision and teamwork.

However, not every game has been smooth sailing for AUB. Their encounter with Appalachian State Mountaineers on December 3rd saw them struggle from beyond the arc – hitting only three out of twenty-seven attempts from three-point range which translates into a mere eleven percent success rate.

Despite this hiccup, one cannot overlook Auburn’s resilience and ability to grind out results even when not playing at their best – which could be crucial against USC Trojans who will undoubtedly pose a stern test.

The Trojans come into this game well aware of AUB’s strengths but also knowing where they have shown vulnerability. If history is anything to go by though, fans can expect AUB to lean heavily on their high-scoring offense while looking to tighten up any defensive lapses that have crept into previous games.

The stage is set for what could be one of the most exciting games this season at Neville Arena where fans will hope that AUB can continue its winning ways before heading into conference play where every victory counts even more.

For those eager not to miss any action between these two formidable teams – mark your calendars for December 17th at six o'clock PM local time (AL). The game will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN channel number two hundred six so make sure you're tuned in or better yet join us live at Neville Arena for what promises to be another chapter in Auburn Tigers' storied basketball history.
