The Auburn Tigers set the tone early on and maintained it throughout the game. They finished with an outstanding field goal percentage of 56 percent compared to Chattanooga's modest 36 percent. The home team's prowess was particularly evident from beyond the arc where they shot an impressive 44 percent against their opponents' respectable but lower rate of 33 percent.

The offensive rebounding was another area where the Tigers excelled; they grabbed a total of 14 offensive rebounds which contributed to their substantial second-chance points tally of 17. In contrast, Chattanooga managed only five offensive rebounds and four second-chance points.

Defensively, Auburn also stood out with eight blocks and seven steals over Chattanooga's three blocks and five steals. This defensive effort limited Chattanooga’s points in paint to just twenty while Auburn capitalized on their own interior plays scoring fifty-two points inside.

Auburn’s assist-to-turnover ratio was another highlight at an efficient rate of approximately three assists for every turnover (2.56), showcasing their ability to share the ball effectively as well as take care of it – they had twenty-three assists against nine turnovers for the entire game.

On individual performances, although specific player statistics are not provided, it is clear that several members contributed significantly given that thirty-seven field goals were made by Auburn players during this encounter.

Looking ahead for fans who want to continue supporting their team: The next challenge for Auburn will be against Penn Quakers at Neville Arena on January second at seven PM Central Time. This event will be broadcast nationally on SEC Network channel six hundred eleven for those who wish to tune in and witness another potential showcase from this promising squad.
