At Neville Arena, home of the Auburn Tigers, fans witnessed an exceptional display of basketball as their team took on and defeated the visiting Colgate Raiders. The arena was filled to its capacity of 9,121 spectators who were treated to a game where every statistic seemed to favor the home team.

The Auburn offense was firing on all cylinders, converting 55 percent of field goals and making an impressive 60 percent from two-point range. Their three-point shooting was also notable at nearly 46 percent accuracy, contributing significantly to their total score. On defense, they were just as formidable; they blocked eight shots and made ten steals over the course of play.

Rebounding was another area where Auburn excelled; they outrebounded Colgate by six boards overall with a total rebound count of 39 compared to Colgate's 33. This included twelve offensive rebounds which led to 24 second-chance points for Auburn – a testament to their tenacity on both ends of the floor.

The scoring for Auburn was well-distributed among players who also combined for fourteen assists – showcasing good ball movement and teamwork against a Raider defense that struggled to keep up. Additionally, with fewer turnovers (eight) than assists (fourteen), it's clear that ball security played a key role in maintaining their lead throughout.

On the other side, despite falling short in many aspects against Auburn’s robust gameplay, Colgate managed some respectable statistics themselves: They shot nearly 44 percent from beyond the arc and matched each turnover with almost one assist (0.92 assist-turnover ratio). However, it wasn't enough against an opponent whose performance overshadowed theirs across various facets of play.

As fans continue celebrating this commanding win by The Tigers at Neville Arena – which saw them leading in points off turnovers (17), fast break points (18), and points in paint (48) – attention now turns towards future matchups that await them.

Looking ahead after this emphatic win at home ground against Colgate Raiders; The Auburn Tigers are set for another exciting matchup as they face off against Memphis Tigers at State Farm Arena located in Atlanta GA on December 10th at approximately around five o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone broadcasted nationally on ESPN2 channel two hundred nine.
