In a closely contested match at Neville Arena, the Auburn Tigers demonstrated their resilience and skill on the court. The home team managed to outperform their opponents in several key areas. With a total of 65 points scored against the Billikens' 60, it was clear that every basket counted in this intense game.

The Tigers showed superiority in blocking with an outstanding count of 11 blocks compared to only two from the Billikens. This defensive effort was crucial in maintaining their lead throughout the game. Additionally, Auburn's steal count stood at six against five from Saint Louis, further showcasing their defensive capabilities.

Offensively, both teams had similar turnover numbers with each committing 12 turnovers during play. However, it was Auburn's more efficient shooting that made the difference; they achieved a field goal percentage of approximately 41 percent on 59 attempts and were particularly effective inside the paint where they scored 36 points.

Free throws also played a significant role for Auburn as they capitalized on these opportunities by making approximately 64 percent of their shots from the line on 22 attempts. In contrast, Saint Louis struggled significantly with free throws making only about four out of fourteen attempts which translates to roughly a mere twenty-nine percent success rate.

The three-point game was not particularly strong for either team; however, it is worth noting that both teams made six three-pointers each but took different paths to get there – Auburn attempted sixteen while Saint Louis tried twenty-one times.

Rebounding was almost evenly matched between both sides as well – The Tigers grabbed forty-one rebounds (thirty-one defensively and seven offensively), while The Billikens collected forty-two (twenty-seven defensively and seven offensively).

Looking ahead for fans eager to support their team again: The next challenge for Auburn will be facing Colgate Raiders at Neville Arena located at Beard-Eaves Court in Auburn AL with zip code being thirty-six thousand eight hundred forty-nine.
