The Tigers have been on an impressive run, showcasing their dominance in recent games. On December 23rd against Alabama State Hornets, they secured a commanding victory with an 82-62 scoreline. Their performance was nothing short of dominant, as they shot 63 percent from inside the arc and outrebounded their opponents by a significant margin of 41-27. This rebounding prowess coupled with their ability to convert second-chance points (15) played a crucial role in their win.

In another remarkable display of skill and teamwork, AUB faced the USC Trojans on December 17th and emerged victorious once again with a score of 91-75. Their offensive efficiency was evident as they shot nearly 48 percent from the field and an impressive 38 percent from beyond the arc. Moreover, their assist-to-turnover ratio stood at an exceptional 2.57, highlighting their effective ball movement and decision-making under pressure.

The Tigers' most recent away game against UNC Asheville Bulldogs on December 14th further solidified their status as contenders this season. They won convincingly by putting up an astounding total of 87 points while shooting over half from the field (53 percent). Their fast break points (23) underscored their ability to capitalize on turnovers and push the pace effectively.

While AUB has been formidable offensively, it's also worth noting that defense has been integral to their success – averaging nine steals per game over these past performances indicates relentless defensive pressure that can disrupt any opponent's rhythm.

On the other side of the court stands Ole Miss Rebels who will have home-court advantage but will need more than just fan support to overcome AUB's momentum. The Rebels must focus on limiting turnovers and improving upon rebounding if they hope to contend with Auburn’s aggressive playstyle.

Looking ahead towards February's matchup between these two teams at The Pavilion – it seems clear that if Auburn continues executing with such precision both offensively and defensively while maintaining high energy levels throughout each half – they stand a very good chance of leaving Oxford victorious once more.

Fans should mark their calendars for this exciting encounter scheduled for February 3rd at The Pavilion in Oxford; tip-off is set for around six o'clock PM local time (Central Time Zone). For those unable to attend in person, you can catch all live action broadcasted nationally via SEC Network channel number six hundred eleven.
