Bears' Strategic Play Leads to Victory


The Baylor Bears demonstrated exceptional teamwork and strategy throughout the game. With 14 assists contributing to their 70 points, the team's ability to work together under pressure was evident. Their defensive efforts were also noteworthy, managing to block two shots and steal the ball three times from the Wildcats. The Bears capitalized on turnovers, scoring seven points off these opportunities.


A standout performance came from VJ Edgecombe who scored an impressive 30 points for the Bears. His accuracy from both inside and outside the arc was remarkable; shooting 62 percent overall and converting 43 percent of his three-point attempts. Edgecombe's contribution was pivotal in securing this win for Baylor.


Wildcats' Effort Falls Short

Kansas State showed strength inside by scoring 30 points in paint but had difficulty maintaining consistency from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting percentage of just 38 percent.
