Boise State Broncos to Battle Vanguard Lions at ExtraMile Arena

As the Boise State Broncos prepare to host the Vanguard Lions at ExtraMile Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying matchup. The Broncos have shown a level of play that can only be described as a roller coaster ride throughout their recent games, and this upcoming game is expected to add another thrilling chapter to their season.

The last time the Boise State Broncos took the court was against Northwestern on March 16, where they fell short with a final score of 67-75. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways from the game that could signal success against Vanguard University. The BSU team managed an impressive total rebound count of 41 compared to Northwestern's 33 and dominated second-chance points with 20. However, shooting accuracy from beyond the arc was lackluster at just 26 percent.

In contrast, during their Mountain West Semifinal on March 11 against Utah State Aggies, BSU's performance dipped further as they scored only 62 points and suffered in both field goal percentage (40 percent) and free throw percentage (64 percent). Turnovers remained consistent at nine per game but what really hurt them was their assist-to-turnover ratio which dropped below one.

However, it would be remiss not to mention BSU's remarkable victory over UNLV Runnin' Rebels on March 10 in a high-scoring overtime thriller where they emerged victorious with an impressive scoreline of 87-76. Their field goal percentage soared to approximately 52 percent while three-point shooting was also commendable at around 46 percent.

The upcoming contest against VU presents an opportunity for redemption and showcasing consistency for BSU. With home-court advantage in their favor and having demonstrated the ability to bounce back strongly after defeats earlier in the season, there is every reason for optimism among Bronco fans.

The key for Boise State will be maintaining strong defensive rebounds while improving upon their three-point shooting accuracy which has fluctuated significantly over past games. If they can replicate or exceed their performance from that exhilarating win over UNLV by combining solid defense with efficient scoring runs, then victory should be within reach.

Fans eager to support BSU should mark their calendars for November 8th when these two teams clash under the bright lights of ExtraMile Arena in Boise at precisely midnight local time (2:00 AM Eastern Time). For those unable to attend in person, live streaming will be available via MW Network on internet platforms ensuring no one misses out on what promises to be a captivating encounter between these collegiate basketball contenders.
