In front of a home crowd at ExtraMile Arena, the Boise State Broncos took control early on and never looked back. The first half saw them rack up an impressive 48 points to the Wolverines' 31. Their offensive execution was nearly flawless, converting 59 percent from two-point range and maintaining a solid 55 percent field goal percentage throughout the game.

The Broncos' defense was equally tenacious, forcing turnovers that led to 13 points off those opportunities. They also outrebounded their opponents significantly with a total of 42 rebounds compared to just 24 for the Wolverines. This included pulling down an imposing number of offensive rebounds which resulted in second-chance points.

On offense, Boise State's precision was on full display as they made five out of twelve attempts from beyond the arc – translating to a notable three-point shooting percentage of 42 percent. Their free throw performance was also strong; they hit their shots from the charity stripe at a rate of 75 percent.

Key players for Boise State stepped up when it mattered most. The team's assist-to-turnover ratio stood at an efficient rate thanks to their ability to share and protect the basketball effectively throughout both halves.

Utah Valley University struggled in comparison but had moments where they shined through individual efforts and hustle plays. They managed only two three-pointers on fifteen attempts – settling for a lowly three-point shooting percentage – but fought hard in other aspects such as scoring tenacious points off turnovers and securing paint dominance with thirty-four points inside.

Despite these efforts by UVU, it was clear that Boise State maintained control over both ends of the court during this non-conference matchup. With eight steals and two blocks defensively coupled with fast break contributions totaling twelve points, they kept their opponents on their heels throughout regulation time.

Looking ahead after this convincing victory, fans can catch the next action-packed game featuring Boise State as they visit San Jose to face off against San Jose State Spartans at Provident Credit Union Event Center on January 5th at 7:30 PM Pacific Time. This upcoming encounter will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports 1 channel number two hundred nineteen for all supporters eager to follow along as BSU continues its campaign.
