The game was characterized by intense competition, with six lead changes and both teams tied five times. The Boise State Broncos showcased their offensive skills in the paint, scoring 40 points compared to the Jackrabbits' 26. Despite this effort, it was not enough to secure victory.

The home team's shooting accuracy from within the arc was impressive as they made 21 out of their 35 two-point attempts, translating to an outstanding sixty percent success rate. However, their three-point shooting told a different story; they only converted four out of nineteen attempts which amounted to twenty-one percent accuracy.

Defensively, Boise State managed twelve steals over South Dakota State's six and had two blocks during the game. Their defensive rebounds were also higher at twenty-five compared to twenty-two for their opponents. Yet these efforts were overshadowed by fourteen turnovers committed by Boise State against nineteen from South Dakota State.

On offense for Boise State, free throws were made with seventy-five percent accuracy as they scored twelve out of sixteen attempts. They also capitalized on turnovers better than South Dakota State did – scoring twenty-three points off turnovers while allowing eighteen.

Looking ahead for fans of the Boise State Broncos is an encounter with Washington State Cougars at Idaho Central Arena in Boise on November 13th. This upcoming game will be available for viewing on MW Network via internet broadcast networks starting at midnight local time (Mountain Time Zone). Fans are encouraged to tune in and support their team as they seek their first win of the season.
