Broncos and Bulldogs Set for Showdown at ExtraMile Arena

As the Boise State Broncos prepare to host the Fresno State Bulldogs, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a thrilling encounter at ExtraMile Arena. The Broncos have been on a rollercoaster this season, but their recent performances suggest they're hitting their stride at just the right time.

Looking back at Boise State's previous games, there's a clear upward trajectory in their play. On December 22 against Washington State Cougars, despite falling short by five points with a final score of 61-66, the Broncos showed resilience and an ability to stay competitive until the very end. They managed to block three shots and steal five times from their opponents while committing only seven turnovers.

However, it was during their home game on December 17 against Cal State Fullerton Titans that Boise State truly shone. Dominating with an impressive 88-65 victory, they showcased an offensive masterclass by shooting 49 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 44 percent from beyond the arc. Their rebounding was also dominant as they grabbed 44 boards compared to Titans' mere 25.

The most telling performance came on December 13 when Boise State decimated Northwestern State Demons with a staggering scoreline of 95-54. The Broncos were unstoppable in paint scoring where they made an incredible 80 percent of two-point attempts and maintained high efficiency from three-point range as well (41 percent). Their ball distribution was exemplary; dishing out nineteen assists reflects a team in sync and ready for any challenge.

The Bulldogs will not be easy opponents though; they bring their own set of skills that could pose problems for BSU. However, given BSU’s recent form – especially at home – it seems likely that they will carry forward this momentum into their upcoming game.

Boise State must continue exploiting its strengths: efficient shooting both inside and outside the arc coupled with aggressive rebounding on both ends of the court. If they maintain these standards while keeping turnovers low as seen in past games, there's every reason to believe another victory is within reach.

Fans eagerly await February 18th when these two teams clash under the bright lights of ExtraMile Arena at precisely half-past six PM Mountain Time (MT). This encounter promises excitement and can be caught live nationally on CBS Sports Network channel number two hundred twenty-one for those who cannot make it to witness history unfold in person.
