Can Boise State Broncos Outmaneuver San Jose State Spartans at ExtraMile?

As the Boise State Broncos prepare to host the San Jose State Spartans at ExtraMile Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The upcoming clash on February 21 promises to be a spectacle of skill and strategy, but how will the Broncos fare against their opponents?

The BSU's recent performance has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. On December 22, they faced off against the Washington State Cougars in Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, where they narrowly lost with a score of 61-66. Despite their defeat, there were positive takeaways: BSU managed to secure 37 rebounds and demonstrated defensive prowess with five steals and three blocks.

However, it was their game on December 17 that showcased what the Broncos are truly capable of when they play on home turf. Dominating Cal State Fullerton Titans with an impressive scoreline of 88-65 at ExtraMile Arena itself, BSU displayed an offensive masterclass. They shot an exceptional 49 percent from the field and converted an impressive 44 percent from beyond the arc.

Even more remarkable was their game against Northwestern State Demons on December 13 where they triumphed with a staggering score of 95-54. The team's shooting accuracy was through the roof as they hit an astounding 60 percent from the field and maintained strong defense throughout.

These past performances suggest that when BSU is in form, especially at home, they can be unstoppable. Their ability to control rebounds – both offensive (17 against CSF) and defensive (29 versus NWST) – coupled with high assist rates (19 assists in both winning games), indicates that teamwork is one of their strongest assets.

The Spartans should not be underestimated though; any opponent warrants caution and respect on court. However, based on past data which reflects BSU's resilience and adaptability even after setbacks like against WSU Cougars where lead changes were frequent yet fought hard till end; it seems likely that Boise State will come out swinging.

With this upcoming game being played in front of a home crowd at ExtraMile Arena – where recent history has shown them to be particularly formidable – it would not be surprising if we witness another display of basketball brilliance by Boise State Broncos.
