In front of a spirited crowd of 12,184 at ExtraMile Arena, the Boise State Broncos showcased their dominance on both ends of the court. The team's offensive efforts were evident as they shot 44 percent from the field across both halves. Their tenacity was further highlighted by sinking 85 percent from the free-throw line and converting seven three-pointers at a commendable rate of 35 percent.

Defensively, Boise State made its presence felt with eight steals and four blocks, disrupting New Mexico's rhythm. The defensive rebounds were particularly crucial for Boise State as they collected 25 compared to New Mexico's 24. This edge in rebounding also translated into more second-chance opportunities for Boise State, who capitalized with an additional eight points over New Mexico in this category.

The Broncos' offense was not just about shooting but also about sharing the ball effectively; they tallied twelve assists while maintaining better care of possession than their opponents with only seven turnovers throughout the game. This careful ball-handling contributed to a higher assists turnover ratio than that of New Mexico.

On individual performances, although names and specific statistics are not mentioned due to restrictions, it is clear that several players stepped up for Boise State contributing significantly to both scoring and defensive plays which were pivotal in establishing control over New Mexico.

The visiting Lobos did put up a fight despite falling short against Boise State's robust gameplay. They managed to block six shots and steal four times from their hosts but struggled with personal fouls committing five more than Boise State which may have impacted their momentum during critical phases of play.

Looking ahead for fans eager to support their team once again at ExtraMile Arena: The next challenge for Boise State will be against Nevada Wolf Pack on March 5th at 9:00 PM local time (MDT). This encounter promises another exciting chapter in college basketball which can be watched live on Fox Sports 1 as these two teams battle it out on court once again.
