From the opening tip-off at Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, it was clear that the BYU Cougars were in control. The home team's offense was firing on all cylinders as they put up an impressive 52 points in just the first half and continued their scoring spree with another 53 points after halftime. Their shooting accuracy was a key factor in this offensive showcase; they achieved a field goal percentage of about 51 percent and were particularly effective from beyond the arc with approximately 42 percent three-point shooting.

The Cougars' defense also played a pivotal role in securing this victory by limiting Southeastern Louisiana to just 48 points for the entire game. The visiting team managed only about 29 percent from field goals and an even lower three-point percentage of around 11 percent. Furthermore, BYU capitalized on turnovers, scoring an impressive 23 points off of them.

Individual performances for BYU were noteworthy as well – seven steals and five blocks showcased their defensive agility while dishing out an outstanding number of assists totaling at twenty-eight demonstrated cohesive teamwork. They also excelled under pressure making approximately eighty percent of free throws attempted.

On top of that, rebounding was dominated by BYU who collected fifty-two rebounds compared to Southeastern Louisiana's thirty-two. This included thirteen offensive boards which contributed to seventeen second-chance points for BYU.

Southeastern Louisiana did show some resilience despite being outplayed; they fought hard under challenging circumstances but could only muster eleven second-chance points and two points off turnovers due to fifteen turnovers committed during play.

As fans look forward to more action-packed games from their favorite team, they can mark their calendars for November nineteenth when Brigham Young University will face Morgan State Bears at Marriott Center once again.
