In a captivating display of offensive firepower, the BYU Cougars outpaced the North Carolina State Wolfpack with a final score of 95-86. The Cougars improved their record to an impressive tally, while the Wolfpack's record took a hit following this high-scoring encounter.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack did not go down without a fight though. They scored twenty-one fast break points and made ten three-pointers at a solid rate of forty percent accuracy from downtown. Their free throw shooting was reliable too, making sixteen out of twenty-two attempts which rounds up to about seventy-three percent success rate.

Despite being outnumbered in assists with only thirteen compared to BYU's twenty, NCST showed resilience throughout by maintaining close proximity on turnovers with nine against seventeen by their counterparts.
