Cougars Claw Back to Victory Over Bears in Rank Rumble at Marriott Center

The BYU Cougars, ranked 25th, edged out a victory against the 11th-ranked Baylor Bears with a final score of 78-71. The Cougars now stand with an improved record of 20-6, while the Bears adjust to a tally of 18-8.

In an intense conference game at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, the BYU Cougars showcased their resilience and teamwork. With an attendance of 17,978 fans providing a roaring backdrop, the Cougars overcame the Bears in a closely contested battle that saw five lead changes and was tied three times.


The home team's offense was firing on all cylinders as they racked up impressive statistics across the board. The Cougars' shooting accuracy from beyond the arc was notable as they converted 39 percent of their three-point attempts into points.
