The Golden Bears have shown a mix of promise and areas needing improvement in their recent games. On December 17th, they faced off against the Ole Miss Rebels and scored an impressive 78 points. However, their defense allowed 88 points, which ultimately led to their defeat. The team's field goal percentage stood at 42 percent, while they shot a solid 80 percent from the free-throw line. They also managed to grab an impressive total of 39 rebounds but were outshone by Ole Miss' more efficient shooting and higher assist-to-turnover ratio.

In another notable game on December 9th against Butler Bulldogs, CAL showed resilience by pushing the game into double overtime before succumbing with a final score of 90-97. Their field goal percentage was better at around 46 percent, and they maintained an excellent free throw percentage at approximately 86 percent. Despite this strong offensive showing, turnovers were a significant issue as they recorded eighteen compared to Butler's fourteen.

However, it was on December 3rd that CAL truly shined when they secured victory over Santa Clara Broncos with an outstanding performance that ended in an exhilarating scoreline of 84-69 in favor of CAL. Their shooting accuracy was commendable with nearly half their field goals made (48 percent) and almost perfect free throw completion rate (93 percent). Additionally, their defensive play improved as evidenced by fewer personal fouls committed (8) compared to other games.

The Wildcats will certainly be no pushovers; however, if recent performances are anything to go by – particularly CAL’s ability to maintain high scoring percentages – then there is reason for optimism among fans of the Golden Bears.

Looking ahead towards this matchup against Arizona Wildcats – who themselves are formidable opponents – it will be crucial for CAL’s players not only maintain offensive consistency but also tighten up defensively if they wish emerge victorious once again on home turf.

Fans eager witness whether California Golden Bears can replicate success seen earlier month or if Arizona Wildcats will spoil party should mark calendars for tip-off time at Haas Pavilion on December 30th at precisely ten thirty PM Eastern Time (7:30 PM Pacific Time). The action-packed event will be broadcasted live on Pac-12 Network for all enthusiastic supporters unable tune in person.
